Introducing La Antiguedad, the second box-pressed line from Pepin Garcia and My Father Cigars. Meaning “The Antiquity,” La Antiguedad joins Flor de las Antillas in representing the Garcia family’s rich Cuban heritage. Once a Cuban brand, La Antiguedad retains its original box artwork and employs a traditional blend of Cuban-seed tobaccos to create another masterpiece from the skilled hands of Pepin Garcia.
La Antiguedad is crafted from an expertly blended selection of unique tobaccos. A slightly reddish-hued Ecuadorian Habano Rosado Oscuro wrapper envelops a double Nicaraguan binder, one Criollo and the other Corojo. Inside, a collection of Nicaraguan tobaccos sourced from three prominent growing regions, aged for a minimum of three and a half years, produce a complex yet smooth medium to full-bodied profile with notes of cocoa, coffee, leather, and a hint of pepper.
The My Father La Antiguedad has garnered a well-deserved 91 rating, praised for being a strong and hearty smoke, full of baker’s chocolate, roasted coffee beans, and earthy tones, balanced by a floral sweetness.
